WIM California offers a variety of educational opportunities for students, teachers, and the community with a focus on STEAM-based activities. WIM members can blend academics and exploration of jobs through learning activities hosted on-site at operations that include an interactive tour of a mine or a related operation.Â
Educators can request a hands-on or virtual classroom activity, to be presented by members of the WIM California Chapter. Often, all supplies and training materials are provided. Request a classroom event and learn more about mining and careers in mining.
