WIM USA provides scholarship opportunities to members and students pursuing a career in mining through our national organization and various chapters. The information on this page is updated when new scholarship opportunities are available. Check back often!
California Scholarships Available
Women in Mining California is pleased to offer five $2,500 scholarships in 2026.
SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants must be a senior in high school or currently enrolled full time in college.
- Applicants must currently maintain a 3.0 or higher grade point average.
- Scholarship Awardees must provide proof of full-time enrollment in secondary education prior to receiving the award.
- A complete application includes, the application form, transcripts, and a one-page essay stating the applicant’s future plans.
- Scholarship essays must include future goals and how those goals relate to the mining industry.
