Online Course: Building a Gender-Inclusive Company

A 4-hour training module designed to create workplace inclusion in your company

Why is it so hard to attract – and retain – great women in mining? Learn how U.S. mining industry leaders can build a gender-inclusive workplace in this 4-hour online (self-paced) course by Jodi Liss of the Center for Resource Stakeholders.

Most companies have general policies to address gender issues but find that usually is not enough, and neither are generic in-person trainings. Gender inclusion has to be more hands-on and more detail-oriented.

Many mining companies would like to do better when it comes to gender inclusion. However, they struggle to achieve results with recruitment, retention, corporate culture, leadership, sexual harassment, and balancing the work-life issues that women face. Most companies have general policies to address gender issues but find that usually is not enough, and neither are generic in-person trainings. Gender inclusion has to be more handson and more detail-oriented.

Enter Building a Gender Inclusive Company. It is a four-hour, online, asynchronous training from The Center for Resource Stakeholders that actually helps a mining company build a more gender-inclusive workplace. It addresses all these issues and more.
The course supports executives, human resource professionals, and functional managers to build gender inclusion in their companies. It is also fun and engaging, with insight and advice from industry insiders; short, entertaining lectures and animations; and interactive scenarios of realistic situations. Participants will learn by doing (always the best way). As they learn, they can tailor the course to their company, making the actual implementation of better gender policies and environments easier and smoother. Learners have three months to complete the course.

Gender inclusion can be a reality at your company. It doesn’t happen organically – it must be a deliberate choice. But, it is easier and less expensive that you think. You will leave this course empowered to change your company culture to be more gender-inclusive, so sign up today at the link below!
