WIM Denver – “The Unwritten Rules of Business”

As women enter the workplace in ever increasing numbers, they are disrupting a set of age-old assumptions about how everyone in business should appear, speak, and act. These assumptions are the unwritten rules of business that apply to everyone and can make or break a career. Using personal anecdotes, Erin Wolf shares insights into how to understand workplace norms and avoid unspoken pitfalls without becoming someone you are not. Erin Wolf is a nationally recognized speaker, executive coach and consultant in the areas of leadership development, diversity, and organizational strategy. She worked for well-known firms such as Bain & Company, Goldman Sachs, and Accenture. Recently in her career, she was the Chief Strategy Officer for two +$1 billion companies. Erin is currently the Managing Partner of SuiteTrack, LLC where she helps companies advance their female professionals in the workplace through executive coaching, workshops and speaking engagements. Erin also founded and runs the Women’s Leadership Center at Kennesaw State University’s Coles College of Business. A former nationally ranked tennis player and scholarship athlete, Erin received her BA Magna Cum Laude in Economics and Spanish from Duke University and her MBA from Harvard University. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
