Join this WIM-CA virtual workgroup to make plans for our organization to host a two-day Teacher Education Conference (Conference) in Southern California for 75-100 teachers during June 2024. The Conference will provide information and practical applications to assist in the teaching of earth science, and in particular, the important role minerals play in our daily lives. This conference is being organized to feature many instructors and lecturers inclusive of university professors, accredited California Earth Science teachers, state and mineral industry representatives and is designed for K-12 teachers who need support meeting the State’s standards in earth science.
