Volunteer to help support a booth at Calico Days! This event celebrates the rich history of California’s Silver Rush and commemorates the town’s mining past and historical significance revisiting life in the Old West during the 1800s. Typically Calico Days lines up gunfighting shows and musical entertainment along with other festivities such as burro racing, costume contests, pie-eating contests, and loads of activities for the kiddos. Apollo Silver has a booth reserved at Calico Days and welcomes WIM’s joint support at the booth which can be expanded to two tables to support and/or supplement their planned activity. Apollo Silver will highlight historically important women in mining, even from the days of Calico, and what women do now in mining.
