Join us for a family day at the Park City Museum located on Park City’s historic Main Street, followed by lunch and yard games at City Park, sponsored by Burgex Mining Consultants!
In 1868, silver was discovered in the Park City, UT area where mine owners’ made fortunes while thousands of miners simply made a living. Visit museum installations talking about how settlers found their way to the area, how mining operations worked, visit a jail cell in the basement of the museum to learn about criminals of that time, and learn about what it was like to live in this town over 100 years ago. You can also learn about how Park City became a ski town once silver prices started to decline.
More info on how to sign up for this event will be coming soon! For any questions, please contact Christy Miller.Â
