California Chapter Education
Hands-On & Virtual Learning
Attention Teachers and community leaders!Â
WIM California offers a variety of educational opportunities for students, teachers, and the community with a focus on STEAM-based activities. WIM members can blend academics and exploration of jobs through learning activities hosted on-site at operations that include an interactive tour of a mine or a related operation.
Educators can request a hands-on or virtual classroom activity, to be presented by members of the WIM California Chapter. Often, all supplies and training materials are provided.
Career Day and Workforce Development
WIM also participates in student career day activities as well as in local workforce initiatives to empower the next generation of talent with exposure to our industry.
