Alabama Chapter

Our Mission

The Alabama Chapter of Women in Mining is a nonprofit organization created to promote, encourage, inspire, and advocate for women in the mining industry in the state of Alabama. In addition, WIM AL strives to educate members and their communities of the economic, scientific, technical, and environmental aspects of mining, and seeks to preserve the great heritage and history of Alabama’s rich mining history and people.
